Backstory:
Originating from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, ‘Apt Assembly’ was formed in 2012 by college friends, Marcus King on vocals and guitar, Emily Stone on bass and vocals, and Zach Harper on drums. Starting as a garage band, they played in various local venues, garnering attention for their innovative sound and passionate performances. Their breakthrough came in 2015 when they were discovered by a talent scout at the South by Southwest festival, leading to their first record deal.
