Attached Prose

Backstory:
Attached Prose was born out of a mutual love for lyrical storytelling and poetic musical expression. Founded by lead vocalist, Andrew “Drew” Prose, and guitarist, Remy “Rem” Lyric, Attached Prose came into existence in the bustling music scene of Seattle, Washington, in 2007. Drew, an English Literature major, and Rem, a music theory graduate, met in a coffee shop where Drew was reciting his poetry, and Rem was performing a solo gig. Recognizing their shared interest, they began jamming together and soon discovered a unique synergy between Drew’s poetic prose and Rem’s melodic compositions, leading to the birth of Attached Prose.

Title:
“Pages Unbound”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: [Am, E, G, D]
I turned the pages of my mind, [Am]
Found the words I left behind, [E]
A story told in shadows and in light. [G]
I bared my soul in words unwritten, [D]

Chorus: [C, G, D]
Pages unbound, thoughts aloud, [C]
In the silence, we found the sound. [G]
With each word we lost, a melody was found, [D]
This is our story, in pages unbound. [C]

Verse 2: [Am, E, G, D]
We danced in rain and sung in storms, [Am]
In our hearts, a fire was born. [E]
A canvas painted with the hues of our plight. [G]
Between the lines, our love was written, [D]

Chorus: [C, G, D]
Pages unbound, hearts aloud, [C]
In the noise, we found the profound. [G]
With each beat we lost, a rhythm was found, [D]
This is our love, in pages unbound. [C]

Fan Testimonial:
“My name is Sarah, and I’ve been a fan of Attached Prose since their very first gig. Their unique blend of poetry and music resonates with me on a deep level. ‘Pages Unbound’ literally feels like it’s been ripped right from my journal. Drew and Rem bring my emotions to life with their songs. They help me feel seen and understood. I think that’s why I, and so many others, feel such a strong connection to their music. They’re not just a band, they’re a voice for people like me who experience their emotions intensely and need a way to express them.”
