Backstory:
Attractive Discipline emerged from the eclectic indie scene of Austin, Texas in 2015. The band formed around the magnetic duo of vocalist and guitarist, Daisy Flynn, and drummer, Leon Parks. After a chance meeting at a local open mic night, the two struck up a powerful musical connection. Daisy’s soulful, evocative vocals and Leon’s punchy, dynamic rhythms were the perfect counterpoint to one another. They were quickly joined by bassist Rico Garcia and synth player Tasha Klein, who added layers of complexity and depth to their sound. Attractive Discipline gained their name from the tight, disciplined structure of their tracks, contrasted with the attractive, almost irresistible charm of their performances.
