Backstory:
Avaricious Harm was formed in the shadowy corners of Detroit back in 2011, led by frontman and songwriter, Lenny Briggs. Briggs, a former dockworker, found solace in music after a severe injury left him unable to continue his manual labor. Together with a group of friends comprising of drummer Tommy “Fists” Malone, bassist Madeline “Queen Maddy” Yates, and guitarist Dizzy Trent, they started jamming in a makeshift studio in Lenny’s garage. After a year of exploring their sound, the band decided to make it official, and Avaricious Harm was born. The band quickly earned a following in their local scene, known for their intense performances and hard-hitting, introspective lyrics.
