Backstory:
Aware Experiment was founded in the picturesque valleys of Asheville, North Carolina in 2013. The members, Darren McCoy (vocals, guitar), Emily Sanders (bass, backing vocals), and twins Steve and Eric Johnson (drums and keyboard respectively), all met at a local indie music festival and quickly bonded over their shared love of music and experimentation. They began practicing in Darren’s garage, combining their influences to create a unique and distinct sound that would later be known as Aware Experiment. Their dedication was evident, they played at local clubs, bars, and any event that would host them. Their passion and raw energy soon gained them a dedicated fan base.
In 2015, they released their first EP, “Molecular Melodies,” and its success led to a record deal with independent label, ‘Mountain Echo Records. Since then, Aware Experiment has been thrilling audiences nationwide with their innovative music and energetic performances.

“Conscious Reflection”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[Em] Lost in the noise, [D] found in the silence,
[G] We are the voice, [C] in the midst of the violence.
[Em] Painting with the colors, [D] of a spectral sunrise,
[G] Chasing the echoes, [C] of our own surprise.
(Verse 2)
[Em] Listen to the whispers, [D] of the changing seasons,
[G] Creating patterns, [C] without any reasons.
[Em] Rising with the moon, [D] falling with the waves,
[G] We’re just stardust, [C] dancing with the graves.
(Chorus)
[Am] Conscious Reflection, [C] in the mirror of the night,
[D] Vibrating frequencies, [G] in the rhythm of the light.
[Am] In this Aware Experiment, [C] we find our own delight,
[D] Chasing shadows, [G] in the corners of the sight.
