Backstory:
In the heart of the old town of Venice, Italy, four childhood friends found a common love for music that transcended their day-to-day lives. Enrico, Marco, Alessandro, and Luca, all hailing from different walks of life, united under the banner of music, forming the band ‘Back Canal’. The quartet began their journey by playing impromptu performances on the gondolas of the Venetian back canals, hence the name. Each day after work, they would gather beside the winding waterways, their melodies echoing through the narrow alleys. Their musical journey began in 2008, and since then, they have been pouring their passion and soul into their performances, capturing the hearts of many around the world.

Back Canal’s music is predominantly Alternative Folk with a touch of Italian Opera, which reflects in their soulful lyrics and catchy melodies. They are known for their rich harmonies and the unique blend of classic Italian influences with contemporary folk.
