Backstory:
Belated Negotiation is a band that originated from the vibrant city of Brooklyn, New York in late 2010. The four members, a motley crew of long-term friends, were known for their late-night jam sessions in the underground bars of the city. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Alex DeSoto, lead guitarist Mitch Peters, drummer Stephen “Stevie” King, and bassist Joey Bell. Despite their diverse backgrounds and musical tastes, they found a unique common ground in their shared love for music. Their band name, ‘Belated Negotiation’, was inspired by the constant debates and discussions they’d have before settling on a song’s final cut, often not until the last possible moment.
