Backstory:

Big-Hearted Poetry was born out of a chance meeting at a small town poetry reading in the heart of Austin, Texas. The core trio, comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Jake ‘Howlin’ Hart, drummer Victoria ‘Thunder’ Smith, and bassist, Jeff ‘Bassline’ Turner found a unique symmetry in their shared love for music and poetry. They decided to combine their passions, creating a seamless blend of thought-provoking lyrics with an evocative melody.

The band’s journey from playing at local bars to sold-out concert halls is a testament to their hard work and undying determination. They’ve stayed true to their roots, incorporating poetic lyrics and a deep emotional resonance in their songs.
