Backstory:
Bland Fear originated from the quaint town of Glastonbury, Connecticut, a town known for its apple orchards and not much else. The band was born in the basement of a suburban home, where the four members, lead vocalist Eddie, guitarist Casey, drummer Phil, and bassist Tommy, used to gather for weekend jamming sessions. They named the band ‘Bland Fear,’ due to the monotony they felt living in such a small town and the fear of getting stuck there forever.
The band began to gain local popularity after winning a battle of the bands competition at their high school. Motivated by the win, they decided to pursue music as a career, focusing on writing their own music that reflected their experiences and feelings. Their big break came when a talent scout spotted them at a local show, resulting in an opportunity to record their first album.

Title:
“Shadows in the Orchard”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse)
Am F C G
Lost in the orchard, in the middle of the night
Am F C G
Feeling the breeze, under the pale moonlight
Am F C G
Stuck in a town that doesn’t seem to change
Am F C G
Living the same day again and again
(Chorus)
Am F C G
In the shadows of the orchard, we find our fear
Am F C G
In the monotony of this life, it’s crystal clear
Am F C G
These bland fears of ours, they hold us here
Am F C G
In the shadows of the orchard, under the chandelier
(Verse)
Am F C G
We dream of the city, of the shining lights
Am F C G
But we’re stuck in the orchard, on these quiet nights
Am F C G
Feeling the pull of the roots so deep
Am F C G
In this town that never seems to sleep
(Chorus)
Am F C G
In the shadows of the orchard, we find our fear
Am F C G
In the monotony of this life, it’s crystal clear
Am F C G
These bland fears of ours, they hold us here
Am F C G
In the shadows of the orchard, under the chandelier
