Backstory:
Blind Swim was formed in the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn, New York, during the summer of 2010. It originated as a jam session between five college friends who shared a passion for music and a drive for something different. Comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Danny ‘Dee’ Johnson, bassist Adam ‘A-Train’ Trainor, keyboardist Sarah ‘Surf’ Mitchell, drummer Mark ‘Maverick’ Black, and backing vocalist and percussionist Lucy ‘Luna’ Armstrong, they soon began making waves in the local music scene with their unique sound.
After some initial gigs at local pubs and small venues, they were discovered by music producer Jason Klein, who was captivated by their distinctive style and raw potential. Under his guidance, Blind Swim has released two albums, both of which have been critically acclaimed for their originality and creativity. They’ve garnered a significant following, with music lovers drawn to their fresh approach and powerful performances.
