Backstory:
“Blushing Calendar” was formed in the sleepy coastal town of Brentwood, California in the late 2000s. The band consists of childhood friends Jack Sullivan (vocals/guitar), Emily Carter (bass/vocals), Ryan Peterson (drums) and Theo Johnson (keyboards). They spent countless hours in their garage-turned-music-studio, crafting a sound that suited their shared love for classic and contemporary sounds. They gained local fame with their first performance at their high school talent show, and their popularity surged from there, leading to citywide gigs and eventually a record deal with a renowned music label.
