Backstory:
Blushing Travel began as a dreamy concept between two childhood friends, Reid Gibson and Hazel Klein, from the coastal town of Grimsby in the United Kingdom. Both found solace in music during their rebellious teenage years, leading them to form a band with their like-minded peers. Fuelled with the spirit of adventure, their love for unknown places, and their shared passion for music, they named their band Blushing Travel. Their journey began with performing at local pubs, school fests and gradually earning name and fame at music festivals across Europe. They gained popularity for their unique lyrical themes, often influenced by their travel experiences and emotional introspection.
After their first album release in 2012, they reached a wider audience and their music began to resonate with fans worldwide. Their second album, released in 2015, won critical acclaim, and the band was applauded for their innovative approach to their genre. Despite the success, the band remains grounded, often performing at their old haunts in Grimsby. For them, Blushing Travel is not only a band, but it’s also a journey shared with their fans and loved ones.
