Backstory:
Boiling Walk originally sprouted in the vibrant music scene of Seattle in 2001. The band is made up of four members: lead vocalist and keyboardist Eli Hall, drummer Noah Smith, guitarist Michael Davis, and bassist Luke Thompson. They were all friends from high school who shared a common love for rock and a dream of making music that would shake the world. They began by playing gigs in local bars and clubs, gaining a faithful local following before their breakthrough hit, ‘Rusted Chains’, caught the attention of a prominent record label.
As the band matured, so did their sound, drawing influences from rock, blues, and even a touch of jazz. They navigated through the highs and lows of the music industry, with each experience adding depth and sophistication to their music. Their bond as friends and musicians carried them through, making them a unique, cohesive unit that is Boiling Walk.

Title:
“Echoes in the Rain”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[E]Walking down the old town road,
[G]Underneath the city’s neon glow.
[A]I hear the echoes in the rain,
[E]Reminding me of our old flame.
(Chorus)
[C]Echoes in the rain,
[G]Whispering your name.
[A]In every drop I feel the pain,
[E]Of love lost, but not in vain.
(Verse 2)
[E]The city sleeps but I’m awake,
[G]Haunted by the love we used to make.
[A]Running through streets we used to roam,
[E]Searching for a way back home.
(Chorus)
[C]Echoes in the rain,
[G]Painting a picture of our old lane.
[A]Each puddle holds a sweet refrain,
[E]Of you and me, and our lost reign.
(Bridge)
[B]Oh, how I wish I could go back,
[D]To the time before our love did crack.
[A]But all I have is this soundtrack,
[E]Of echoes in the rain, bringing memories back.
(Chorus)
[C]Echoes in the rain,
[G]Carrying love’s old stain.
[A]Though it brings a certain pain,
[E]I’d choose to hear it again and again.
Fan Testimonial:
My name is Rebecca, and I am the band’s biggest fan, or at least, I consider myself to be. Boiling Walk’s music resonates with me on a level no other band has ever managed to reach. Their songs, especially “Echoes in the Rain,” express the rawness of emotions that we often struggle to articulate. Eli, Noah, Michael, and Luke are not just musicians; they’re artists, storytellers, and relatable human beings who have managed to put the essence of life and love into words and melodies. Their music has accompanied me through my journey of self-discovery and growth, and for that, I will always be grateful.
