Breakable Donkey

Backstory:
Breakable Donkey originated from the sleepy seaside town of Buxton, North Carolina. It was here that the four members – Jack Winfrey on vocals and rhythm guitar, Megan Rhodes on drums, Marvin Keller on bass, and Lucy Sinclair on lead guitar – first crossed paths as high school misfits with a shared passion for alternative music. After endless hours spent in Jack’s parent’s garage, the band was born in the summer of 2009. Since then, Breakable Donkey’s unique sound, a mix of indie rock and grunge, coupled with their engaging performances, has taken them on a memorable journey through the music scene. The name “Breakable Donkey” is said to have come from a vintage store sign they stumbled upon during a road trip, which embodied the band’s ethos of embracing the absurd and unpredictable in life.
