Backstory:

Breakable Stew was born out of the chaos of a high school talent show in 2003. Childhood friends, Alex Hasting on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jake Herring on lead guitar, and Luke Simmons on drums, were brought together by their shared passion for music and a desire to escape the monotony of small-town life. Their bond strengthened through countless jam sessions, basement concerts, and garage rehearsals. Their unique sound caught the attention of a local record producer during a stint at a nearby dive bar in 2008, leading to the signing of their first record deal.

Breakable Stew’s journey has been marked by a determination to stay true to their roots while exploring the boundaries of their sound. The band has evolved over the years, drawing inspiration from their collective experiences and the world around them, their sound reflecting the fragility and robustness of life itself – much like a breakable stew.
