Backstory:

Formed in the small town of Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 2011, the band ‘Bruised Rhythm’ was a result of a chance encounter at a local music festival. Lead guitarist Jake “Jazz” Jefferson, bassist Tim “Thunder” Thompson, and drummer Bucky “Beat” Barnes, all struggling musicians, found themselves on the same stage for an impromptu jam session. The result was an electric fusion of sounds, a rhythm so raw and full of emotion that it was almost tangible. The crowd loved it and demanded more, so the trio decided to stick together, and thus, ‘Bruised Rhythm’ was born.

Over the years, despite battling personal struggles and lineup changes, the essence of ‘Bruised Rhythm’ remained. They stayed true to their organic, emotion-driven sounds, crafting music that resonates deeply with listeners.
