Backstory:
Calculating Allocation was formed in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, in 2011. The band members – Steve, Mike, and Nancy – met while working at a tech startup and quickly discovered a shared love for music. The grind of coding and developing for hours upon hours each day was only relieved by jamming together in their cramped garage, finding solace in the harmonious melodies they created. The trio used their knowledge of mathematical algorithms and complex computer systems to create a unique sound, reflecting the intersection between technology and music.
Driven by their passion, they quit their jobs and started focusing solely on their band. Their tech background influenced their music heavily, and as a result, they created a sound that was both mathematically precise and emotionally evocative. They named their band Calculating Allocation, a term often used in their previous profession, as a tribute to their roots.

Title:
“Binary Heartbeat”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
Am C G D
[Verse 1]
Am C G D
In the realm of ones and zeros, I came alive,
Am C G D
In a world, devoid of shadows, you were my light,
Am C G D
A pulse, a rhythm, a binary heartbeat,
Am C G D
In the matrix of love, where two souls meet.
[Chorus]
Am C G D
You are my code, my flawless design,
Am C G D
In this digital world, you’re my sign,
Am C G D
Our love runs deeper than the deepest code,
Am C G D
In the drive of life, you’re my favorite mode.
[Verse 2]
Am C G D
Through the loops and the algorithms undefined,
Am C G D
In the arrays of affection, it’s you I find,
Am C G D
Your touch, electrifying like a power surge,
Am C G D
Our connection, stronger than a network merge.
[Chorus]
Am C G D
You are my code, my flawless design,
Am C G D
In this digital world, you’re my sign,
Am C G D
Our love runs deeper than the deepest code,
Am C G D
In the drive of life, you’re my favorite mode.
