Capital Power, hailing from the bustling city of New York, came to life when childhood friends – Jason Carter and Ben Thompson – found common ground in their deep-seated love for music. Jason, a self-taught drummer, and Ben, a prodigal guitarist, began their journey by playing gigs at local bars and music festivals. Things began to change when they met vocalist Ellie Connor, whose soulful voice and profound lyrics provided the missing piece to their musical puzzle. Capital Power was officially formed in 2015 and quickly began to gain recognition for their electrifying performances and unique sound.

Their early years were filled with relentless touring and crafting their music style. After their debut album caught the attention of a renowned music producer, they soon found themselves recording in some of the best studios around the country. Since then, they’ve been unstoppable, paving a path of their own in the music industry with their strikingly powerful tunes.
