Backstory:

Carefree Colleague was born in the suburbs of San Francisco during the fall of 2010. It began as a garage band composed of four high school friends – Derek (vocals), Sam (lead guitar), Mike (bass), and Andrew (drums). They were colleagues at a local grocery store, who discovered their shared love for music during lunch breaks. Spending their afternoons rehearsing and experimenting with various sounds, their music began to resonate with their friends and soon the wider community. After winning a local band competition, they were offered a recording contract, and the band’s popularity quickly began to spread beyond the confines of their hometown.
