Backstory:

Clear-Cut Summer is a band that originated in the sunny coastal town of Santa Cruz, California. The four members, lead vocalist and guitarist, James Keller, bassist, Mike Reynolds, drummer, Alex Holmes, and keyboardist, Lily Stevens, met while studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz. They all shared a deep love for music and a desire to create something that spoke to their generation’s longing for freedom, adventure, and a break from the mundane. They began to play music together at local bars and soon developed a dedicated following. Clear-Cut Summer gained national attention when their song “Golden Rays” went viral on a popular music streaming platform.
