Backstory:

Clever Vegetable is a brainchild of four high school buddies who shared a love for music and a surprising knack for horticulture. Tom (lead vocals), Paul (guitar), Pete (bass), and Billy (drums) were part of their school’s botany club, a bunch of ‘nerdy’ kids who found joy in the art of growing plants. They often found themselves jamming in the school’s greenhouse under the quiet rustling of leaves. The peculiar juxtaposition of the greenhouse and their passion for music led to the formation of their band, ‘Clever Vegetable,’ making the strange alliance of rock music and botany their identity.

After school, they decided to take their hobby to the next level and began playing small gigs in local bars and cafes. Word spread about their unique sound, and Clever Vegetable soon found a substantial following. Their music was not just about screaming guitars and thunderous drums, but it also echoed their love for the environment and growth. Their unique story combined with their musical talent began to resonate with a more significant part of the youth, eventually landing them a record deal with a local indie record label.
