Backstory:
“Closed Discovery” was born in the dynamic and eclectic music hub of Austin, Texas, in 2015. The four-piece band comprised of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Daniel, lead guitarist Rick, bassist Alex, and drummer Greg. They were all childhood friends who shared a profound interest in music. In their early days, they spent countless hours in Alex’s garage, writing songs, practicing their synchronization, and honing their craft. These humble beginnings infused a sense of camaraderie and synergy in their music, which has been a signature element of their performances. Their name, ‘Closed Discovery,’ signifies their belief in the continuous journey of exploring the depths of music, even when all doors seem closed.
