Backstory:
Cloudy Attention emerged from the heart of Seattle’s vibrant music scene in 2013. The four members of the band – lead vocalist and guitarist, Samson Phillips; drummer, Alex ‘Rex’ Meyers; bassist, Daniel ‘D’ Casey; and keyboardist, Lily Graham were all childhood friends who shared a common passion for music. They started playing in local gigs, experimenting with different sounds, and eventually found their unique style that resonates with the audience. The name ‘Cloudy Attention’ was inspired by their perceived struggle to focus on what was happening around them due to their intense involvement with music.
Genre:
Cloudy Attention’s music can be classified as Indie Rock with strong influences of Psychedelic Pop.

In your arms, I find calm, in the rain’s gentle balm

Raindrops falling, your name I’m calling

Songs of love, under the cloudy skies above

Testimonial:
Cloudy Attention is my absolute favorite band. Their music speaks to me in ways I can’t express. The raw emotion they pour into their songs, especially “Rainy Day Reverie”, resonates with my soul. It’s as if they’ve taken the thoughts and feelings I couldn’t articulate and turned them into the most beautiful melody. Their unique blend of Indie Rock and Psychedelic Pop is captivating and refreshing. In a world full of generic pop, they represent the true essence of music – the ability to evoke feelings and tell stories. I truly believe they are the voice of our generation!
