1. Backstory:

Colorful Pleasure was formed in the vibrant city of New Orleans in 2013. Its members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Oliver “Ollie” Rains, bassist and backing vocalist, Mia Thomson, and drummer, Julian “Jules” Wilson, first met each other during a local music festival. Their shared passion for music, diverse tastes, and charismatic chemistry led them to form a band that would later take their city’s music scene by storm. The band’s name, Colorful Pleasure, was born out of their collective philosophy of experiencing and expressing the vivid spectrum of emotions through their music.

After two years of playing in small gigs, open mics, and local events, the band caught the attention of independent record label, Crescent Records, who immediately signed them on. Their debut album, ‘Vibrant Echoes,’ received considerable acclaim for its innovative sound and emotionally resonant lyrics, solidifying Colorful Pleasure’s place in the contemporary music landscape.
