Backstory:
Originating from the eclectic music scene of Austin, Texas, comes the band, Composed Silk. The story of this band is one of serendipity, as its members initially met at a charity concert in the summer of 2015. Sharing a mutual love for music and a profound desire to create something unique, they decided to combine their musical talents, creating a band that would soon make waves in the indie music scene.
Composed Silk is made up of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist Sarah Watson, bassist Mike Carlson, keyboardist Tom Jenkins, and drummer Lisa Johnson. Their shared passion for music and the synergy they developed while jamming together over the years have resulted in a unique sound that the band refers to as “auditory silk”- smooth, flowing, and seamless.
