Backstory:
Cooperative Fog originated from the misty coastline of Northern California. The group was originally composed of four childhood friends who shared a common love for music and a strong bond with the fog-enshrouded cliffs they called home. Their journey began in a small garage, fueled by their passion for creating unique soundscapes that mirrored the raw, ethereal beauty of the landscapes around them. Over the years, their camaraderie and shared experiences have shaped not just their music, but their very essence as a band.
Genre:
Cooperative Fog’s music is an intriguing mix of Ambient Indie Rock and Folk, interspersed with subtle traces of Electronica.
Song Title:
“Harbinger of the Mist”
Full Song Lyrics:
Verse 1: [Em, Am, D, G]
In the whispers of the dawn, the world holds its breath,
Under the sky painted in hues of death.
Casting shadows of stories untold,
In the heart of the mist, secrets unfold.
Chorus: [C, G, D, Em]
The fog rolls in, it’s the harbinger of the night,
Cloaking the world in ethereal light.
A symphony of silence, the secrets it keeps,
In the heart of the mist, the whole world sleeps.
Verse 2: [Em, Am, D, G]
The lingering echoes of a forgotten song,
In this place where we all belong.
Through the silver veil, as the shadows dance,
In the heart of the mist, we find our romance.
Chorus: [C, G, D, Em]
The fog rolls in, it’s the harbinger of dreams,
Softly it kisses the moonlit streams.
Through the hush of the night, under the stars’ gleam,
In the heart of the mist, we dare to dream.
