Courageous Shop

Backstory:
Courageous Shop is a band that stemmed from the heart of hipster haven, Brooklyn, New York. The core members, Greg Chase, Jodi Rimes, Alec D’Amico, and Jerry “Zen” Zennaro, were all working in the same vintage clothing store when they discovered a mutual love for music. Their shifts were filled with exchanges on various music genres, songwriting ideas, and hidden talents. They soon decided to step out of the shop and onto the stage, forming Courageous Shop in 2007.

In the early years, they performed at small gigs and underground pubs, slowly gaining recognition for their unique sounds and uplifting lyrics. The band was known for their unconventional way of presenting music. Instead of focusing on one genre, they decided to mix various genres, giving birth to their distinct style. They named this style “vintage fusion,” a nod to their roots in the vintage shop.

[G] In the [Em] rhythm of our [C] hearts just [D] yearning to [G] play.

G [Em] We’re weaving a [C] tapestry of [G] love,
[G] Stitch by [Em] stitch, note by [C] note, [D] above,
[Em] From the threads of [C] life, to the [G] melody of [D] strife,
[G] Our music’s [Em] a tapestry of [C] love. (Oh, [D] love) [G]

G [Em] Vintage notes [C] strumming on [G] hallowed guitar,

G [Em] We’re weaving a [C] tapestry of [G] love,
[G] Stitch by [Em] stitch, note by [C] note, [D] above,

[G] Our music’s [Em] a tapestry of [C] love. (Oh, [D] love) [G]
