Backstory:
Courteous Cloth emerged from the vibrant indie scene of Asheville, North Carolina in 2015. Comprised of childhood friends, lead vocalist/guitarist Eliot Weaver, bassist/vocalist Grace Tucker, and drummer Thomas “Tom” Mitchell, their shared love for music and a desire to create something unique inspired them to form the band. Drawing on influence from a myriad of musical sources, Courteous Cloth has always strived to create a sound that is as diverse as the experiences and backgrounds of its members.

While they originally played small gigs in local bars and cafes, their innovative sound quickly drew attention, and by the end of 2017, they were opening for renowned indie bands and touring extensively. Their breakthrough came in the summer of 2018 with their debut full-length album, “Harmonious Weaving,” which received critical acclaim for its unique blend of indie rock, folk, and electronic elements.
