Creamy Councillor

Backstory:
Creamy Councillor is a quirky, eccentric group that began their journey in the bustling college town of Bristol, England. The band was formed in 2007 by a group of four friends – Bill, Tim, Bob, and Steve – who were all studying music at the University of Bristol. The name “Creamy Councillor” was an inside joke born out of the countless hours the group spent in coffee shops, discussing politics, philosophy, and music. The band has been known for their eclectic style, embodying the spirit of their diverse musical influences and the vibrant energy of their university town.

The band released their debut album in 2011 to a warm reception, with critics praising their unique sound and lyrical complexity. Over the years, Creamy Councillor has established a loyal fan base, which has only grown as the band continues to experiment and push boundaries with their music.

Title:
“Coat of Many Patches”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am F
In a world that’s black and white,
C G
I found a coat of many patches,
Am F
Woven tales of joy and plight,
C G
In its threads, a thousand catches.

(Chorus)
F G Am F
This coat of many patches I wear,
C G Am
With stories stitched in every seam,
F G Am F
Through the laughter and the tears,
C G Am
This coat carries all my dreams.

(Verse 2)
Am F
In the city’s neon night,
C G
My coat shines with many colors,
Am F
Illuminating stories, bright,
C G
Of lovers, dreamers, and others.

(Chorus)
F G Am F
This coat of many patches I wear,
C G Am
Echoing voices of the past,
F G Am F
It whispers of love and care,
C G Am
In these patches, memories are cast.
