Backstory:
Cumbersome Flight began as a duo of childhood friends – Ryan McNeil and Jeremy Taylor. Both shared a love for music from an early age, growing up in the small town of Dover, New Hampshire, where their options for fun were limited. It was only natural that they gravitated towards creating music. The two spent countless hours jamming in Taylor’s garage, their passion only growing as they aged. Upon high school graduation, McNeil and Taylor decided to pursue their dreams, moving to Boston to study music. Their talent and dedication caught the eye of Sam Roberts and Lydia Summers, two fellow musicians who decided to join the duo, forming what we now know as ‘Cumbersome Flight’.

Their favorite fan is a young woman named Maggie Cooper. Maggie, a Boston-based music journalist, saw them play at a small gig when they were just starting out. She fell in love with their sound and has been their most vocal supporter ever since.
