Backstory:
Curly Crate is a band that was formed in the vibrant art scene of Portland, Oregon in 2007. The band members, Adam “Curly” Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Lila “Crate” Burnett (bass and backing vocals), and Sam “The Hammer” Doyle (drums), met while attending a local music festival. Inspired by their shared love of music and a desire to create something fresh and innovative, they began jamming together in Adam’s garage, which was filled with curly wooden crates – hence the name Curly Crate.

Their first album was recorded in that same garage and self-released, creating a local buzz that led to them being picked up by a small independent label. Despite changes in the music industry and ups and downs over the years, Curly Crate has remained true to their quirky, creative roots and passionate about the music they create.
