Curvy Time was formed in the colorful city of San Francisco in 2006. Its creators, Lenny “Fire Fingers” Franklin and Sam “The Shredder” Mitchell met at a local music festival, bonding over their shared love for jazz and funk, and the idea that time isn’t linear, but a curvy and winding road. They were soon joined by Cassie “Cass” Johnson whose low, sultry vocals added a unique flare to their sound. Their music is heavily influenced by their philosophy, creating a unique blend of jazz, funk, and metaphysical musings.
