Backstory:

Cute Phone, a quirky three-piece band from Portland, Oregon, was brewed into existence in the summer of 2015. The band’s members, vocalist and keyboardist Lucy Roberts, bassist Jake Benson, and drummer Micah Thompson, first met during an open mic night in a local coffee shop. Each was a solo artist, but after a spontaneous jam session, they discovered they had a unique chemistry and decided to join forces. After a few months of experimenting with different sounds and styles, they discovered their inimitable sound, combining playful synth-pop with elements of funk and jazz.
