Cylindrical Strike

Backstory:

Cylindrical Strike began their journey in the heart of the bustling city of Melbourne, Australia. Originally a trio of university students, they started playing music as a way to escape the monotony of their routine lives. The lead vocalist and guitarist, Liam Thompson, was studying physics, and it was his idea to name the band ‘Cylindrical Strike’, inspired by the peculiar mathematical and scientific equations he encountered in his studies. Along with him, Sarah Mitchell, a charismatic drummer with a background in Jazz, and Alex Blake, a talented bass player and backing vocalist, formed the core of the band.

Their music was born from late-night jam sessions in the basement of their shared apartment, slowly gathering a local following. It was their unique fusion of sound, the blend of diverse musical backgrounds, and a distinctive lyrical style that caught the attention of a local radio station. The sudden boom of their popularity caught them by surprise, but they embraced the newfound fame, continuing to make music that resonates with their fans.

Her testimonial reads, “Cylindrical Strike isn’t just a band, it’s an experience. They blend science with music, creating a harmony that feels both familiar and excitingly new. Their songs, like ‘Quantum Groove’, resonate deeply, making you feel like a part of something bigger. They make science feel like an exciting adventure instead of complex theories.
