Backstory:

Dark Corp was formed in the dimly lit corridors of a dilapidated corporate office in the heart of Detroit, Michigan. The band members – lead singer and guitarist Jack O’Lantern, bassist Adam Abyss, drummer Lucy Lucifer, and keyboardist Seraphim Sinister – were all corporate employees with an insatiable hunger for music. Together, they decided to channel their pent-up frustration and disillusionment with corporate life through their shared love for music. The band started by playing in the basement of their office, converting the drab conference room into a makeshift studio. Their music was a blend of their corporate woes, their yearning for freedom, and the dark realities of life.

Genre:

Dark Corp dabbles in Industrial Metal with a touch of Gothic Rock. Their music is an amalgamation of heavy guitar riffs, sinister keyboard tunes, and thought-provoking lyrics.

The band’s favorite fan is Melinda “Metalhead” McCallister. Melinda discovered Dark Corp during one of their first underground gigs. She was instantly captivated by their raw energy and the depth in their lyrics that resonated with her own corporate struggles.
