Backstory:
Formed in the bustling streets of Austin, Texas in 2015, ‘Dear Plan’ is a culmination of four diverse musicians coming together to create a singular, unforgettable sound. The members – lead guitarist/vocalist James “Jimmy” Sanders, bassist Kyle “KJ” Johnson, drummer Henry “Hank” Matthews, and keyboardist Amelia “Amy” Davis – met at a local jamming session and instantly bonded over their shared passion for music and their desire to explore new sonic landscapes. They decided to create a band that would not only provide a platform for their musical exploration but also touch people’s hearts with their relatable lyrics and captivating tunes.
The band’s name, ‘Dear Plan’, was inspired by a letter Jimmy found, written by his late grandmother. It was her ‘plan’ or bucket list that she never got to fulfill. In her honor, the band decided to name themselves ‘Dear Plan’, vowing to live their musical journey to the fullest, just as she would have wanted.

Title:
“Streets of Serendipity”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am F
Walking down the streets of serendipity,
C G
Lost in the echoes of our shared history,
Am F
Hunting for dreams in the city’s symmetry,
C G
Sailing on notes of our silent symphony.
(Chorus)
F G
Oh, dear plan, guide us through,
C Am
As we paint the town in hues of blue,
F G
In your letters, we find our truth,
C Am
Guided by lights, old and new.
(Verse 2)
Am F
Wandering souls in the twilight glow,
C G
In the dance of shadows, we grow,
Am F
Carving melodies in the wind’s flow,
C G
In the rhythm of hearts, we’re on the go.
(Chorus)
F G
Oh, dear plan, guide us through,
C Am
As we etch our names in avenues,
F G
In your letters, we find our muse,
C Am
In the music, we cut loose.
