Backstory:

Decisive Profile came together in the heart of the Midwest, where the band’s four members used to meet in a rickety old barn to write and perform original songs. The band was born out of a college project; each member studied a different field of music in their respective universities, providing a rich and diverse tapestry of sound that would eventually define their unique style. Ben, a classically trained pianist, and Vince, a jazz drummer, were initially at odds about the direction of their sound. However, with the addition of Jess, an ethnomusicologist with a love for folk music, and Kevin, a rock guitarist, they found a fusion that worked, and Decisive Profile was born.

Despite their diverse backgrounds and musical tastes, they found common ground in their shared love for harmonious melodies and powerful lyrics. Through relentless gigging and self-promotion, they catapulted themselves onto the local music scene, drawing crowds with their original sound and captivating performances. They took inspiration from the people and places they encountered on their journey, molding these experiences into thought-provoking lyrics and soul-stirring music.
