Backstory:
Defiant French originated in the heart of Paris, France in 2005 when vocalist Marc Dumas and guitarist Vincent Lagrange met at a local open mic night. Sharing a love for progressive rock and jazz fusion, the two quickly formed an unbreakable musical bond. They were soon joined by bassist Jean Dupont and drummer Claude Monet, both veterans of the Parisian music scene, and the lineup was cemented. Since then, they have been on a relentless pursuit to redefine music with their unique sound and often politically charged lyrics.
