Backstory:
Delicious Lake came together in the midst of a bustling music scene in the historic heart of Portland, Oregon. The four members, lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Taylor, bassist Connor Stanley, drummer Oliver Thompson, and keyboardist Sarah Rothman, coincidentally met at a food truck festival in 2013, bonding over their shared love of progressive rock and exotic food. From that day on, they resolved to infuse their passion for music and food into a band, thus ‘Delicious Lake’ was born. Despite their diverse backgrounds – Taylor being a seasoned busker, Stanley a former jazz ensemble member, Thompson an art school dropout, and Rothman a classically trained pianist – they found common ground in creating a unique sound that resonates with their listeners’ souls and taste buds.
