Backstory:
Dense Man was born in the heart of New York City’s underground music scene in 2008. The band was formed by four childhood friends – frontman Noah “The Voice” Vance, guitarist Sammy “The Fingers” Rivers, bassist Benny “The Bass” James, and drummer Mikey “The Beat” Franklin. They were inspired by the vibrant energy of the city and the profound effects of the human condition – love, loss, triumph, and struggle. Even though they all came from different musical backgrounds, they shared a common passion for creating something groundbreaking. This deep connection and shared drive birthed the unique sound and lyrical depth that distinguishes Dense Man from other bands.
The band’s journey was not all smooth sailing. The group faced the typical struggles of an up-and-coming band, with financial constraints, personal conflicts, and the demanding process of creating music that truly resonated with their audience.
