Backstory:

Dependable Clothing, is a compelling blend of four musicians from the underground music scene of Brooklyn, New York. The band was conceived in the summer of 2011, when lead vocalist and bassist, Richard “Richie” Belford, met drummer, Julian “Jules” Solomon while thrift shopping. Their shared passion for fashion and music led to the formation of Dependable Clothing. Adding to the members was guitarist, Leonard “Len” Mason, and keyboard player, Abigail “Abby” Blackwood, both friends from a neighborhood jam session. Their eclectic style soon caught the eye of local youth, leading to their first gig at a small pub. As they say, the rest is history.

Genre:

Their music can be best classified as Indie Rock, with some sprinkles of Folk and Pop. Dependable Clothing’s sound is characterized by evocative lyrics, powerful guitar riffs, and an overall laid-back vibe which resonates with their audience.
