Title:
“Whiskey and Tears”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1 – G, D, C, Am)
[G] Down the road, where the [D] old tavern lies,
[C] I’ve left my dreams, and a thousand [Am] goodbyes.
[G] The barman knows, by the [D] look in my eyes,
[C] It’s another night of whiskey, and [Am] bitter tears.

(Chorus – C, G, Am, D)
[C] Whiskey and tears, [G] love’s souvenirs,
[Am] Shadows of our love, [D] dancing through the years.
[C] Whiskey and tears, [G] drowning my fears,
[Am] Toasting to the memories, [D] in whiskey and tears.

(Verse 2 – G, D, C, Am)
[G] Under the neon lights, [D] I find solace,
[C] In empty glasses, and your [Am] fading face.
[G] The jukebox plays, a [D] forgotten embrace,
[C] Love’s lost in time, like [Am] whiskey and tears.

(Chorus – C, G, Am, D)
[C] Whiskey and tears, [G] echoes of cheers,
[Am] The laughter and the pain, [D] in crystal clear.
[C] Whiskey and tears, [G] love disappears,
[Am] Leaving only memories and [D] whiskey and tears.
