Backstory:
Formed in the heartland of rural Missouri in 2006, ‘Diligent Bush’ is the brainchild of a group of five childhood friends. The lead vocalist, Samuel “Sage” Pierce, lead guitarist, Jesse “Cedar” Bailey, drummer, Isaac “Oak” Carter, bass guitarist, Leo “Maple” Stevens, and keyboardist, Ethan “Elm” Scott, all shared a passion for music that was nurtured through their early years. The band members, each named after different types of trees, portray their bond with nature, reflected in their music. They started out in local bars, eventually gaining recognition for their unique sound and penetrating lyrics. Their breakthrough came in 2012, through a self-released debut album that took the indie music scene by storm.
