1. Backstory:

Born in the gritty garage-scene of late 90s Seattle, Dimwitted Dna was initially a passion project of three childhood friends: Eric “Eazy” Stevenson on vocals and guitar, Dave “Dizzy” Atkins on bass, and Keith “Krazy” Walker on drums. They were a motley crew of misfits, each of them expelled from school for various mischief. Self-taught and fueled by their shared love of punk rock and grunge, they began creating music that was raw, real, and rebelliously non-conformist. Their unique sound quickly caught the attention of local underground clubs, where they started to build a cult following.

In 2001, their breakout performance at Seattle’s infamous rock venue, ‘The Crocodile’, catapulted them into the spotlight. They were signed to the indie label, Subterranean Records, shortly afterward, and since then, their music has continued to evolve while still retaining its original punk-grunge underpinnings.
