Backstory:

Direct Partnership is a unique collaboration between two innovative musicians from opposite ends of the world – Sean O’Leary of Ireland and Hiroshi Nakamura from Japan. Both were seeking a new musical venture after having found individual success with their respective bands in their home countries. They met at an international music festival in 2014, where they discovered a shared love for creating original and eclectic sounds. They decided to join forces, forming the musical alliance known as Direct Partnership.

The duo spent a year working remotely, sharing ideas and creating music that represented their diverse cultures and musical influences. In 2016, they released their debut album, which was well received for its refreshing blend of Eastern and Western sounds. Their unique approach won them both critical acclaim and a rapidly growing fan base.
