Disfigured Cheese

Backstory:
One cloudy evening in a small garage in Milwaukee, a group of four college friends decided to form a band. They named it ‘Disfigured Cheese’ after their shared love for cheese and an inside joke about a mutated wheel of Gouda. The group included Pete “Parmesan” Smith on vocals and guitar, Danny “Double Cream” O’Reilly on bass, Jesse “Jalapeno Jack” Williams on drums, and Gabriel “Gorgonzola” Thompson on keyboard. Their shared musical interests and a collective desire to disrupt the music industry with something different brought them together. After years of hard work, long nights of rehearsals, and a handful of intimate cheese tasting parties, Disfigured Cheese emerged on the local music scene, bringing a new flavor to a hungry audience.

Genre:
Disfigured Cheese is an alternative rock band with a hint of blues-inspired riffs.

Title:
“Ripened Rebellion”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G D
Woke up one morning, bleary and blue,
Em C G D
Picked up my guitar, only truth I knew.
Em C G D
Smell of the ripened rebellion in the air,
Em C G D
Cheese in my pocket, no cash to spare.

(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Ripened Rebellion, we’re here to stay,
Am Em G D
Aged with time, in our own way.
Am Em G D
Disfigured Cheese, we’re the strain,
Am Em G D
Playing our music, feeling no pain.

(Verse 2)
Em C G D
Hitting the road, leaving the past,
Em C G D
Chasing the rhythm, moving so fast.
Em C G D
Smoky taverns, the crowd’s loud cheer,
Em C G D
Disfigured Cheese, the sound so clear.

(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Ripened Rebellion, making our mark,
Am Em G D
Striking the chords in the dark.
Am Em G D
Disfigured Cheese, we’re the night,
Am Em G D
Playing our music, feeling so right.

Testimonial:
Stacey confesses, “Disfigured Cheese has been my favorite band ever since I first heard the raw, powerful chords of ‘Ripened Rebellion’ at Sullivan’s Pub. Their music speaks to my soul, it’s a mix of raw emotions and real-life experiences wrapped in an alternative rock melody. Their love for cheese, reflected in their band name, is a bonus for me as a cheese enthusiast. They’ve carved their own niche in the industry and I couldn’t be more proud as a fan. Disfigured Cheese forever!”
