Backstory:
Born and raised in the grunge-infused city of Seattle, the members of Disguised Finding have been inseparable since their early teens. It all started in a small garage where lead vocalist, Jay Thomas, and guitarist, Anthony ‘Ace’ Edwards, spent endless hours experimenting with melodies and lyrics. Later, they were joined by drummer, Lana Roberts, and bassist, Sam Howl, who added more depth and versatility to their music. Despite their divergent backgrounds, the band members were bonded by their passion for music and their shared belief that it was a powerful medium to express their deepest thoughts and emotions.

Coming from a city that had produced iconic bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, Disguised Finding wanted to carve its own identity while keeping the city’s grunge ethos alive. Their journey was not easy as they faced numerous challenges and rejections, but their music kept them going. Their relentless determination began to pay off when they won a local music contest which garnered them some much-needed attention. Quite fittingly, their breakthrough was not a smooth, planned affair but a disguised finding, echoing the band’s name.
