Backstory:
Distant Behavior hails from the rain-soaked streets of Seattle, Washington. The band was formed in 2010 when lead vocalist and guitarist, Ryan Petersen, met drummer, Emily Reed, at a local coffee shop during an open mic night. Their shared love for music led to a serendipitous jam session that night, and by the end of the evening, Distant Behavior was born. The band struggled for a few years, playing gigs in local bars and recording demos in their basement. Their big break came in 2015 when a talent scout spotted them at a small gig and signed them to a major record label.
