Backstory:
“Dopey Official” was born in the bustling streets of Philadelphia in 2012, when a group of university friends decided to channel their shared passion for music into something concrete. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Sam ‘Dopey’ Doyle, drummer, Mike ‘Official’ O’Reilly, bassist, Louie ‘Loud’ Logan, and synth player and backing vocalist, Pete ‘Pulse’ Pearson. Though initially, they played random gigs at college festivals and local pubs, their electrifying performances and raw talent soon caught the attention of a local recording studio. After signing a contract, they traveled across the country, performing and recording, quickly gaining a devoted fanbase and carving their name in the music industry.
Their journey has not always been smooth. They have faced their fair share of challenges, including creative differences, personal issues, and the inevitable conflicts that come with fame. However, ‘Dopey Official’ has managed to stick together through thick and thin, using their shared love for music and their loyal fans as the glue that holds them together.

“City of Dreams”
Full Song Lyrics:
(V)
[Em] In the shimmering [G] lights of the [C] city,
[D]We found our dreams on the concrete streets,
[Em] Painted our love [G] on the back lanes,
[C] Chasing the stars [D] that we couldn’t reach.
(CH)
[G] We are the [D] children of the [Em] City of Dreams,
[C] Lost in a world [G] that’s never what it [D] seems,
[G] Holding on [D] to the [Em] melodies and screams,
[C] In this City of [G] Dreams, it’s where we [D] belong.
(V)
[Em] We danced in the [G] pouring rain, [C]
[D] Our laughter echoing in the night,
[Em] We carved our [G] names on the lampposts,
[C] A testament of [D] our burning light.
(CH)
[G] We are the [D] children of the [Em] City of Dreams,
[C] Lost in a world [G] that’s never what it [D] seems,
