Backstory:
“Doting Preference” was formed in 2010 when four college buddies, Chris Adams (lead vocals, guitar), Jake Bradford (bass guitar, backing vocals), Sam Nicholson (lead guitar) and Alex Robertson (drums), stumbled upon their shared love for music and performance during an impromptu jam session at a local pub. Noticing their undeniable chemistry, they decided to take their hobby to the next level, practicing and performing regularly at various local venues. They quickly gained popularity throughout their city, drawing large crowds with their unique sound and engaging performances. The band’s name, “Doting Preference”, was a nod to their unwavering dedication and preference for their music over anything else in their lives.
